  • 29th June 2005 - Two Sky Dates

  • The Royals game at Vicarage Road on Saturday 27th August has been moved to a 5:15pm kick-off and will be shown live on Sky Sports. The home match with Ipswich has also been selected for live coverage and will now kick off at 1:30pm on Sunday 16th October.

  • 29th June 2005 - Hunt Completes Move

  • As expected, Stephen Hunt has completed his move to Reading after passing a medical. Midfielder Hunt, 24, joins the Royals on a one year deal (which doesn't suggest that Coppell has an enormous amount of confidence in the player - but then he was released by Brentford because they didn't think he was good enough).

With this calibre of signing, it looks like we could be in for a long hard season.
